ULTIMATE “Battle of the Bluegrass†debuts in OH-KY this weekend with $30,000 plus Double Header
Some things come, some things go and some things make a comeback which is about to take place at Ohio’s Moler Raceway Park and Richmond Kentucky’s Richmond Raceway this coming Friday and Saturday nights. What a way to kick it off with over $30,000 in total purse monies available to the teams.
"I can’t wait to get started" said ULTIMATE Owner Stan Lester. "We asked the teams and our fans in Kentucky if they wanted another regional super late model series and the answer was an overwhelming YES. I truly appreciate the tracks in the area having confidence in us to reopen the Bob".
The new Bob Region of ULTIMATE will have 14-15 regional shows in its first ever season and additional “National events†teams can come too if they so choose. “We like to give the teams options†said Lester. “Some of these guys race for a living and they need to have places to go even if the Bob region isn’t running. Like for instance the “Colonial Clash†weekend is over $130,000 now with its own $15,000 point fund for 4 days of racing. If the teams and track in that are work with us, we will truly have a great season there in that areaâ€.
"Our sponsors have been great" stated Lester. "They were quick to jump aboard and we want to make sure the are happy with it. To this point Hoosier, American Racer, VP Racing Fuels, ARP Bodies came with us to the new region and we just added Frank Revel at Revelution Race Cars".
ULTIMATE “Battle of the Bluegrass†region thanks their fantastic marketing partners. American Racer, Hoosier Racing Tires, VP Racing Fuels, ARP Bodies, Revelution Race Cars, $199autos.com
