The run Bobby made to the front, was far from a snoozer. After that, no one had anything for him. He had a run down the back stretch and threw the high side of 3 and 4, that left everyone else scratching their heads. He even kept the right quarter in one piece. Over all 34 raceway put on another great show. A very large crowd there. Longest line at the ticket and concessions windows, that I've seen anywhere. Too bad they only run one LM show a year.

The 305 sprint car feature was a much better race, but the late model show was not a snoozer.

I have heard that they are running "crate late models" (IMCA specs can run with a restrictor plate) at 34 Raceway at least once this year.

Maybe snoozer was a poor choice of words but once he was up front it was pretty clear nobody had anything for him. The race was great on back but as far as Pierce, he was in cruise control.

Jason seems to be getting faster in the BD every time out. Hope the upswing continues.

I agree, if that wasn't a big momentum builder what will?

fryefan; I have tried for years to get my interest in sprints whether its winged or not. And I can't, I watched a lot of sprints when I was younger maybe that has something to do with it. I'm glad you liked them and the show. Hopefully maybe we can meet at a race someday!

Longest walk back to the car ever. After that workout, made a pledge to go walking every morning once I catch my breath......the Little sprint cars put on a heck of a feature.

I'm glad I went early and did a little tailgating. I seen cars parked on the side of the road a mile away when leaving. It took forever to get out of there. You was probably faster walking.

So many cars there and expected we ended up parking our bus back in the pits, spending the night anyway. Less crowded back there and a lot of fun. I agree that the sprint race was great, but the late models was fun to watch too. When Bobby got so far out front it just shifted us all back to watching position #2 through #10. Jason put on a great show moving up to 5th. For so many cars and fans I thought 34 Raceway did a great job of keeping the show running and interesting. Now if I had just won the (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) 50/50....
