My father and grandfather used to take me there all the time back in the late 60s early 70s before we moved to the coast........I have been back 5 or 6 times since then, but great memories at the stadium......it's a must see for sure.

Thats awesome. Definitely a 1 of a kind track, ive never seen anything like it. When i 1st saw it last year my 1st thought was "theres no way modifieds or sportsmans will fit on this track". Every lap around there is tense even just watching from the stands

If Fayetteville can get it in they will! Went down there a couple of weekend ago for the Ed Gibbons race. It rained a bit at the track and was raining all around the area. They kept working and was prob one of the best surfaces I have seen down there in awhile... Looking for a good weekend of racing in the Tar Heel state. Y'all that are traveling be safe!
