Back to Boyds, as a racer I don't like racing against the track owner. In supers we ain't going to out run 17M so you run for second back. In crate the goal of D2 is wreck at least three cars and one of them is try to turn them over. Most people don't like Ruts, dust and the track owners car in your door and still on the gas.

I don't, but did, go to races to watch guys battle for 7th and 8th. I wannna see the best guys at the track PASS cars to get to the front. Now, I'm back up here and get to see RACING. Y'all enjoy that fastest guy deserves the to be at the crap!
It seems like weekly racing in the South is fading away, while tracks in the North still are pulling decent fields of cars for their weekly shows. This may be one of the reasons why. The southern weekly shows are not interesting.

Well it's always been common knowledge that you don't race at your on race track. I don't think it will get any better until someone else takes over.

That might be the only thing that could save racing . every other week format
that would directly reduce the cost . even pull fans in for a bigger race and see more cars .
pay a bigger purse , because of less racing the attitude to go would increase . ( now )
i know that i would not want that to happen , at all , ( just sayin ) . i own a super late
and the time , effort and cost . in the wrong thought i almost would welcome that.
there are many sports that dont perform every week . i better stop my wife might

McDowell very seldom races at boyds. I seriously doubt that he would run a regular race night.
