Race fans & fishing........

Just curious, what percentage of race fans love to fish? (besides me)

I fish but I do more hunting than fishing.

We love to fish and a couple of our annual racing trips involve some significant time spent fishing.

When we're in Springfield for the Illinois State Fair USAC Silver Crown & ARCA races on the State Fairgrounds Mile and the Lincoln and Macon POWRi shows we spend several days on Lake Springfield fishing and enjoying being on the water the 4 days leading up to the weekend racing.

Also when we go down to Du Quoin for the Labor Day weekend USAC & ARCA racing at The Du Quoin State Fairgrounds Magic Mile we camp at Rend Lake and go out fishing just about every morning of the week we're down there.

I miss a lot of racing due to hunting. I used to fish on Lake Superior years ago.

Lot of walleye Northern and Big mouth bass.. When i lived up in Ely Mn .. No race tracks there so Fished a lot.....

When we go racing and stay somewhere we bring the poles and fish the day away waiting for the races

Used to do a lot of catfishing on Tennessee river and Pickwick lake still do some but not like years ago. Deer hunt every chance I get and doing a little bit of hog hunting now.

I love to fish. Go out to San Diego for a seven day trip every year fishing for tuna and yellow tail. I used to do some freshwater fishing but after my first saltwater trip I was hooked and now that's all I do.
