Race fans & fishing........

I grew up in Arkansas where there was tons of fishing, now I live right on Mobile Bay (Alabama) and can fish off the pier at my apartment complex (saltwater of course) or go out on a boat. I don't own a boat, just jet skis. It is much easier and cheaper to have friends with boats lol. My dad is the head honcho for a saltwater tackle brand and supplies all needed gear, which is handy because I suck at fishing and mess up a lot of tackle, most due to my lack of patience.

Still would much rather go racing any day.....

I start my season off fishing then it turns to racing................Green River Lake......Crappie fishing
Kentucky Lake..........Crappie fishing
Dale Hallow Lake......Crappie fishing

It's been a few years since I went, but Dale Hollow used to have some great walleye fishing.

And of course some of the biggest smallmouth bass in the world have been caught there. World record fish. But I couldn't catch a cold if I went bass fishing.

Its not You .. It takes the right Fly, at the right time of day, at the right place,The weather must be just right.... Witch is a lot of work. THATS why you go Racing its not as much work LOL.....

Fish Story.... I Hooked a Walleye that was 1.250in. short of the all time big in Mn.. Was a real nice fish . Was going to mount him . Came home from work and My Mom had him on the Cooker out by the lake.. So much for a nice Mount.. But he was Good eating.....True Story....

I love to fish. Go out to San Diego for a seven day trip every year fishing for tuna and yellow tail. I used to do some freshwater fishing but after my first saltwater trip I was hooked and now that's all I do.

NormP, You've got it all wrong. You find a nice Yellow tail (Asian) and their you will have the best Tuna you ever ate at home And not only that, theirs a Bonus. They will love you Long Time. LOL JMHO

I've had 3 of those lousy carp jump in my boat and trust me tuna smells like perfume compared to those flying b*stards! I figured it was a matter of time before I got clobbered in the head so I built a Lexan windshield-bring 'em on!

Me and my son have fished that creek that runs behind Tyler County Speedway. Big Musky in there. Small creek too.
