I guess it's understandable for some folks to struggle watching a race without a scoreboard. Must get confusing watching them cars go round in circles. I guess when you get too dizzy, you can always watch the scoreboard.lol

Scoreboard is an issue to me because they had one and let it go to hell. That shows they haven't put money into upkeep. Bathrooms are an issue for women that attend. Yes a person can eat before they go, but if you choose to eat there, you shouldn't have to eat the second you arrive, or risk going without. The point I was trying to make was the track has not kept up with maintenance, let alone improvements and I get tired of being lied to about how they have. I live 20 minutes away from FALS and FC, have been going to both tracks my whole life, and remember FC, being the better track. Now FALS destroys FC in every manner, and until FC reverses their downward spiral, I choose to support FALS.

So if I was in your area and had the time and money I go to both this Friday I am chosing to a track that has crappy seats won't touch the food great racing no scoreboard over a track that has great food great track good scoreboard but ahhh no late models we follow lates

FC was in a league way above FALS several years ago they are bringin it back come on out and support it they just dont have volunteer base falsdoes

Only way to enjoy FC is getting a pit pass and standing by turn 3 fence, otherwise it feels like you are watching it on TV. FALS is always hammer down and 3 wide, you are close to track on backstretch, you can byob, and the atmosphere there is great as well. Like HH said FALS in it's own league.

Well if you stand in turn 3 in pits you have been close to me more then once...Love turn 3 you 3 feet from cars if they running high.. If they rubbing the wall you could touch them if there was no fence ....

I'd love to have a track and program like Farmer City has close to me. I'd just eat ahead of time and stay out of the women's bathrooms.

If your coming from a long way, driving time on Fri eliminates Farmer City. If you can Do a Motel on Fri night and do both. FALs does put on a little better show on average. If your more concerned about seating and food, find a good restaurant instead. Neither offer Surf and Turf, but you can find good track food. The Sports Bar in Fairbury has a big Elephant ear tenderloin. Go a little early. That Samich is huge. A two hand samich.

This thread is why I don't visit or post on this site much anymore. I thought this thread was asking who's showing up at FC??

Been going to both places for a long time. Going to both places this weekend (only 45 miles apart). Most people in the area know that FC was at its best when Sargent promoted. Looking forward to FALS cause it's been a while since I've been there.

Those that are going to both can draw your own comparisons, but like Highside said, most cars will be at both tracks. I hope both places draw excellent fields.
