Does that surprise you? Don't take this wrong, but I think you nominated him for the Wilmoth ride, and personally, he's a terrible choice. Not clean, and runs well at about 2-3 tracks.Originally posted by Pennsboro23 View PostTyler Carpenter caused two cautions but never went to the tail.Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Were you there? Do you know what happened? He kept pushing the tires out on the track to get a caution so he could catch Moran. Not sure what that has to do with the Wilmoth ride. I don't care much for the kid but you can't deny talent. He runs well pretty much wherever he goes. I threw his name out there as one of the guys who could do well in that ride, that doesn't mean I like him or agree with some of the things he does on the track. He's a wheel man and much better than Wilmoth, Benedum at this point. If you go back and read through all the posts, you will see that I would like to see that ride go to Jared Hawkins but you could do a lot worse than Tyler Carpenter.Originally posted by chupp n bloomer fan View PostDoes that surprise you? saw him, Tyler carpenter hit five tires , and jumped the start two to three times. no one done anything , not the flag man or who ever controls the starts been around this sport for fifty years and never have I seen anything like that. so unfair to the other drivers and the fans.

Jesus Christ, told ya don't take it the wrong way, but ya did anyway. Don't have to be there, they say don't judge a book by it's cover, but in this case, sorry, is what it is. No I wasn't there, don't have to be. I had a birthday party to attend and I work six days a week. I don't think he's very good, sorry, just my opinion. Jared Hawkins, Jared Miley, heck ya. Run well, race clean, act professional.Originally posted by Pennsboro23 View PostWere you there? Do you know what happened? If you weren't there and didn't know what I was talking about with the cautions then don't comment. I agree he's a dirty driver, and he's very arrogant. But that does not make him a bad driver. Strictly talking about his driving ability.

He kept pushing them out onto the track. He wasn't going to catch Moran without a caution and he finally got one by pushing a tire on the track and a lap car spinning trying to avoid it. That was about the 5th tire he hit. He got the caution and almost ended up passing Devin on the last lap. During the heat, he shoved one on the track, threw the caution, but they did not send him to the tail.Originally posted by zyoung25 View PostI wasn't there myself. Updates through Facebook. I did watch the video though.
How was he pushing the tires out? That's just odd to me.

Kicking tires on the track to cause a caution. That's a good one. You subscribe to "Tinfoil Twisters" or "Conspiracy Theory for Dummies" by any chance?
Tyler is aggressive. A little too aggressive at times. I'd say there isn't one late model driver that has passed more cars on slick tracks than Tyler Carpenter. The video of the race is here:
