EPJ was really fast as the leader, but only till they caught traffic. His line wasn't available in traffic.

The track crew did a great job but it was too late they should have before the b mains as it screwed their guys like Scott bull an Wenger. The heats were horrible.

I am guessing they didnt put water on it because it rained between 8-10 and again at noon here, and was still a chance for rain again 5.

Idk much about track prep all I know I was their at 2 an it looked pretty muddy an I was a little worried they would not get it smoothed out in time. So to me it looked like they watered it a lot an track didn't take it. In the end it was a good feature.

I was there all day, tough track prep conditions - heavy rain to the North and South, almost like we had a dome over Fairbury that kept it away. So of course not putting a lot of water on all day then when it was finally past us not enough time to get it to its usual starting spot. The 15 minutes of work done before the LM feature and then having the LM feature first in the lineup made for one hell of a race though!

The heats were not up to usual at FALS but like it was stated radar was calling for rain. I will gladly sit through any delay while trying to rework to make the track better. They succeeded in making it much better for feature. Be back for summernationals, love that place.

When it comes to track prep, there is no second guessing the folks at FALs. The top was good threw qualifying and faded as heats where run, but they evened it out for the feature. The shape, banking and track prep at FALs is second to none. They throw a party and a race breaks out.

I thought the announcer made a new term for FALs action. Getting Fallsey indeed. Great call.
