Nothing wrong with making money that way. What % of your units, does HUD pay or subsidize the rent?

Rental property is considered unearned income therefore is not taxes the same way. My father in law has about 280 apartments and nearly 30 rental houses. Other than property tax which is city or county what kind of income tax does the IRS take from your rental property which you profit from?

Probly.....I deal with it on a regular basis. Im a sub-contractor for one company that has 250 units, mostly houses! I make sure Im outa there by 4pm every day, if you know what I mean.
