Traveling Series + 2 Local Divisions: The Series' Feature Runs 1st, 2nd or Last?

That's the parameters for this poll. I saw a guy get forum-pummeled in what I thought was a no-brainer discussion. Maybe I've lost touch with today's fans thinking.

I think 2nd is what works best for me when I'm not racing and just spectating. I like to be able to hit the concession stand and or bathroom after the Bmains or Consi's before the feature.

PennDirt this wouldn't happen to be from Racestud and Lernerville's All Star race would it?
Don't know if it's BS or not but from what I gather from talking to a few people the call wasn't made by the Lernerville brass but was made by the All Star's owner.
Which IMO if it happened that way I can understand his concern with the heavy amounts of rain the area had that week and the very heavy track conditions. IMO it was a safety call.
After watching the video of the feature it was 100% the right call running the All Star sprint feature last even though it was pretty late. It was a good race!

The bitching on Racestud in that particular thread was from the constant complainers from meth country up north. It's by no means the general feeling from the Lernerville faithful.

In my opinion, the fans are paying extra for the traveling series. In most cases it brings in fans who have traveled a bit to see the show and are not regular track attendees. I say give the fans what they paid to see and run the touring series first, then those who want to see the weekly classes can decide if they want to stay and watch. This would also help with the traffic leaving the track. I have seen it done both ways over the years. If I have traveled a good distance, and am not staying in a hotel, it gets me on the road faster for a long ride home.....just my 2 cents.

I can't see making the tour last. I'm OK with a support feature after the consy to keep the program moving along, then the other support class after the tour to clear out the parking lot. Much easier to Leave after all those who must get out immediately have left.

My proposed rule: the featured division starts before 10:00 (9:30 even better). If a track can't get the traveling series hot lapped, qualified, and B-mains/heats before 10:00, forget it.
