As of right now, thursday and friday aren't looking promising. saturday and sunday look much better. they have 2 complete mlra shows scheduled for thursday and friday. if it rains would they run everything saturday and scrap the mlra stuff or do it all saturday and sunday since monday is memorial day and most people will be off and should be able to stick around sunday?

If they do have to run Sunday they'll lose some cars to the MARS race in Monett. But if Thursday and Friday are a wash, Saturday will be the full Show-Me show and that will be it for the weekend I would assume.

I talked to them at the track today. Sounds like it is very wet around there right now.
Sure hope they get it all in. I am leaving this afternoon headed for I80 speedway then off to wheatland on Wednesday. It's about a 1000 mile tow so sure hope to see all 4 days of racing.

I was looking over the order of events on LOMS website, I see for Saturday they are only running b mains for the Late models then the show me and non qualifiers features. Is this going to be a deal where they take your best finish over the first 2 nights to set the feature lineup or will it be a knoxville deal where you accumulate points over the first 2 nights? So if they only can race Saturday, one would think they would have to run one of the MLRA shows earlier in the day to setup the feature and bmains.

The Thursday & Friday night shows are LODLMS/MLRA races. Drivers average finish from the 2 shows will be used to determine the 18 cars locked into Saturday's A-Main and the B-Mains (up to 3).

thanks for the info. saturday and sunday look to be the best days to race. hopefully they can do a doubleheader on saturday of the prelims then sunday run the show me.

I emailed the track, they said they can use Sunday for a raindate if need be. So it looks like there should be some racing this weekend at the show me!

It can rain a lot and they can still race, as long as it is not raining in the evening (only the track itself is dirt and they have a lot of equipment). I imagine that they will get some racing in this weekend.

forecast has improved as of now. Thursday is showing 40 percent chance of rain. Friday is the worst day with 90 % and Saturday is showing 40 %.
