I never really saw a Swartz car up close, I will say for a bigger guy like myself they look like a pretty safe option. I wonder if Dohm's car is a tall cage version, looking at pictures of Boggs' car though his also has a good sized opening as well.

Dohm was fast all weekend and just had bad luck on Saturday or he would have had a top 5 there as well.

Very impressed with the Tyler Co. local drivers all weekend, my first time seeing many of them but they sure left an impression.

To my knowledge there is not a tall cage version like other chassis have. All of them are tall to make for easier exits. Audie is huge on safety, top quality craftsmanship, really builds a nice car.

I can get behind that, just about the only thing that scares me about racing is fire - what happened to Charlie Floyd is my worst nightmare. Looking at some of the cars out there (XR1, Longhorn, etc) I would have a hard enough time getting out of the car when all four tires are planted on the ground. Upside down I would be in big trouble.

that tall cage came about when Jackie flipped and broke his neck. I've seen a few different Swartz cars you can tell by how high the cage is the majority are tall and look different. there are very few that have the different cage on them

It looks to me like the Longhorn and XR1 have taller cages than, say, a Disco or BWRC car. There is a aerodynamic benefit to having the roof way up in the air.
