I've never seen gun owners criticized. Gun laws are criticized, and rightly so. There's not one good reason for any law abiding citizen to own an assault rifle. None.

Exactly.....Terry obviously doesn't know much about guns! A 223 is one of the weakest centerfile rifles there is. My 12 gauge auto, holds 5 shells that shoot 43 .24 inch pellets, each. Think about the damage it can do to a crowd of people!

I'm not a gun zealot or a gun expert. But I am a gun owner. 2A gives me that right. Having said that, we are the most violent first world country in the world and there's no end in sight. Our biggest enemy is ourselves. Something needs to change.
