How about starting later and heavy watering right before race time

Need the water 10 12 inch down.. If you just toss a bunch on top it stays on top and makes mud..Want the water coming up so it best to start a day or 2 befor hotter it is the more water need day befor..Once you got it the way you want it you got too keep putting water on it or it drys up.... Its a Art too do it right...

I live within sight of the track. They had been watering the track since Tuesday. With the high temps and direct sunlight it backed the top of the track. It is mainly a gumbo track. Too much water and it ends up so rough that we all tear stuff up all night. The track was really racy until half way through the latemodel a main. That is how pierce was able to overtake moyer. Once the bottom rubbered up it was a train show though. Im not just saying this as a fan in the stands, I raced my mod there.

I thought it looked fairly racy too for the first half of the race. Pierce said it was good as well.

He passed Moyer because he got off the bottom on a restart. If he hadn't done that Pierce would have never got around him.

Ok!! Then lets say if Feger and Bobby would not have been racing hard at Cedar Lake. Moyer would have never caught either of them.

I was at both tracks plunks7 was you? The track took rubber Tri City in the heat races. If Moyer would have stayed on the bottom Pierce would have had to run over him to get around him.

think moyer said that. tricity is hit or miss most often not real racey on big shows in heat of summer. not bashing cause i like the place but simple truth
