Don't tell Davenport.........he would drop off tour and start casting from the pressbox.

Not sure why, but Fayetteville is always pretty quick to pull the plug if the R word pops up...........
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

That part I understand, but they pull quick on the regular weekly shows also...........guess that's their thing.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Jim cantore has to be standing in the infield of Dublin for them to call it.........if any way possible they get it in , no matter what.

Which isn't always great for everybody either watching a feature take the green at 1:00am............

Was standing in line at the ticket booth when the rain started. Everybody in the ticket-line sort of crashed the gate, just walked right in, right past the ticket taker, etc. etc. and all went in the men's room to escape the rain. After about 30 minutes, they announced the cancellation. The bathroom crowd just walked back out.

LOL! A race at Dublin requires Noah to begin construction on the Ark to be called. You are delivered a program, at some hour, if Mother Nature has any thoughts about hesitation.

Which for me , is fine ........but I could see some that wouldn't or couldn't stay to see it.

Hats off to those guys though, they are always glass half full kinda guys........if it's doable, it's going to get done.

They're courteous too Barbequeboy. One race in the past, Richard Bailey told the drivers "if you will stay, we will race" and that's what happen, albeit in the wee hours of the morning. I believe ol' DoubleZero probably had to go to church in what he wore to the track and with a Hardee's breakfast platter!

Yep , we stayed that night too.........and knowing double zero, I'm sure it's not the first time the old 300 rolled into church in his racing attire.
