5000 for a hundred lapper is piss poor i dont care how small the track is, would you risk turning your 30-40 grand motor 9000 rpms twice a lap for a hundred laps for a chance at 5 thousand bucks thats not including hotlaps or heat races let alone fuel, pitpasses, tires an some food in your gut along with miles on your hauler an good luck getting your car outta there damage free cause your in lapped traffic typically for 70 of the 100 laps ..... saying car counts are down everywhere is obvious but look at the investment/payoff aspect of it i honestly wonder if the winner broke even all things considered???? dont get me wrong cool race for the fans but with the payout if your writing the checks i can see why this race is less appealing ...

Ump is a f n joke. It's actually a sanctioning body trying to b a series. What have they had like 7 guys run the whole SN so far. F n pathetic. Nuthing is going to change with it. He'll it's Sam the scams cash cow. The idea is fans in the stand and stars in the cars. There is no f n way they can compete with Woo or lucas oil. Have said for years Ump is the biggest scam goin.

Why would a low car count, be a UMP problem? First it's a week night. A lot of racers work regular jobs. The WOO was running and The LOLM was supposed to run. That sort of spreads the available cars thin. Every race, can't be a World 100. There was lots of passing threw the field. What more do you want?

not to mention the locals at each track are tough! just because those guys dont travel or follow a big series doesnt mean they cant drive and drive fast...most of the racers will agree

How does Lucas affect car counts in Indiana or Illinois when they are down in North Carolina?

if lucas wasnt racing, shirley and erb would of both been there.
