The Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series presented by Old Man’s Garage event scheduled for Sunday, July 17 at Volunteer Speedway has been canceled due to a bad storm late in the week that took down billboards, fences, and didn’t allow time to get everything operational (electrical service, generator, scoreboard, transponders, PA system and other pieces of equipment) needed to hold a night of racing. … Plus, along with some other unfortunate circumstances.Volunteer Speedway would like to ask everybody to please continue their support with the Southern Nationals Series as their two-week tour around the Southeast moves forward.Sincerely,Joe & Phyllis Loven~~~~~~~~~~~~This is on their web site and dated July 8th. But if you get on the Southern Nationals web site everything is a go(dated July 14th) WTH????

Im not really sure who knew what cause I was looking on DoDs master schedule last night and it was a go then this morning it said it been canceled. Thats what got me to look at both SN and Volunteers websites and found the above statement

Well if you check out both websites the statement up above is dated July 8th. The SN statement where they were hyping the race up is dated July 14th unless they have changed it since this morning.
