IT IS NIGHT BEFORE THE MILE RACE DAY AT Lincoln Speedway!




The Illinois State Fair race weekend gets started at Lincoln Speedway on Friday, August 21 with the Farm and Home Supply Night Before The Mile, featuring a full night of open-wheel and stock car action. The event is headlined by the Morrow Brothers Ford Midwest Open Wheel Association Sprint Cars, joined by DIRTcar Pro Late Models, Taco Bell DIRTcar Modifieds, MARA Midgets, and Crown Vics.




The lineup for the night includes:

IT IS Bettenhausen 100 Race Day at the Illinois State Fair!

Traditional open-wheel racing with roots to the Indianapolis 500 and National Championship continues on with the USAC Racing Silver Crown Champ Cars.


The Silver Crown Series comes in after their last race at Iowa Speedway which saw C.J. Leary pick up the win, and is trying to carry that momentum to his first event win at Springfield. With only 4 previous winners in a field of 33 car pre-entry field means it is going to be a highly contested 63rd Bettenhausen 100 presented by Hunt Brothers Pizza with a great chance for a new name to capture the crown.

DIRTcar Racing Sportsman will also run qualifying events for the 33rd Illinois Sportsman Nationals as well.

It's going to be a Chamber of Commerce Day. Come on out to the fair, get some delicious fair food favorites like a Corn Dog, Funnel Cake, Lemon Shake-Up, and other unique items you can only find there, and enjoy a great day of motorsports as well.
