Weather kicked their a$$ half of the week but the crew at Boone pulled it off. Great job by them. Wednesday show got rained out and the had two complete shows to do Thursday. Ran 20 hours straight to get them in then to have a rain delay Friday night. Thorton Jr. won his Friday quailifier Saturday morning and drew the front row spot. Thorton Jr. Mike Vengenderen, and Jimmy Gustin battled the first half. Gustin looked like he was going to run away with it like he did the allstar race but once Thorton got around him again, Gustin faded back. Good racing in all classes. New record of 906 cars ran this week even though they added a class. There was an increase in some of the classes from previous years Link to Saturday Feature Results: https://www.imca.com/2016/09/11/thor...f-imca-career/
