Don't forget, in addition to the USAC Racing Silver Crown Champ cars, the DIRTcar Racing Modifieds will be in action at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center this coming Thursday, May 24. While we've had a decent field of pre-entries, we could still use a few more. Great place to pick up some additional UMP points as well as good prize money at $2,000 to win and $200 to start! Retired NASCAR driver, Ken Schrader, from Fenton, MO, will be a busy driver starting Wednesday night in the state of Indiana for this week's "Week Of Indy" events. Schrader will be wheeling his #9 Modified on Wednesday night at the Terre Haute Action Track, as part of the Hulman Classic. Then on Thursday, Schrader will be doing the double with, not only his Modified, but a USAC Silver Crown car in the Hoosier Hundred at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center. It should be noted that his busy schedule will continue next week, as he will be running the Modified at Macon Speedway, in Macon, IL, on Memorial Day Monday and then on Thursday in the 95Q Up On The Wheel Modified 100.

This year's event comes with a lot of buzz boasting a robust 39 entries for the USAC Racing Silver Crown Champ Car Series entries including 11 rookies and a stout field of veterans. At the end of 100 miles, one Champ Car Driver will write their own chapter in the long and rich history of racing at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center and the Hoosier Hundred The DIRTcar UMP Modifieds will be in action accompanying the Big Cars and will be sure to put on a great show as well.
