I was just griping about bodies and a few other things on another post. I haven't seen the rules yet, but if this is true, it sounds like he may actually be doing some of the things I've been begging for.

That's one of the worst written emails I've ever seen. Imagine being in such a position of power that you can't even construct a sentence without the reader having a stroke.

Anyway, doesn't mean he's wrong about the bodies. Racers priced themselves out of the game long ago. While it sucks for the racers, I believe Sam is trying to do the right thing.

These rules should have been mandated 10 years ago. There will be some sport mods around my area that will be faster than a "open mod."

Lets see if it all goes out the window come winter nationals. If you read Sam's letter he admits we are here because they have let things slide for years. With all the complaining about the "new" rules. I bet it will be business as usual come winter nationals illegal cars will be allowed to compete and no one will care about the "new" rules package in 2022.

A lot of that stuff has already been in the rules before. It wasn't enforced. Sam admitted they let stuff slide. What makes you think they will actually enforce now?
