Interest in Non-Wing Sprint Car Group in Georgia

To clarify, what I'm asking is who is willing and able to "race" non-wing sprints in Georgia and/or South Carolina. The specific engine rules are debatable, but most likely will NOT be crate only. Think along the lines of the UMSS traditional rules, Northern Renegades Sprints or Elite Sprints Racesaver 305. Power range of 430HP-480HP on alcohol. 602/604 engines would be allowed to compete, but would NOT be mandatory. The 602/604 engines produce 400HP/450HP respectively on alcohol with 4 barrel carb. The UMSS/Renegades utilize a 2 barrel carb and the Elite cars utilize constant flow mechanical fuel injection. Watch some of the videos and see what you think

Feel free to share any rule ideas you think would make a good sportsman sprint type class, tire, engine, etc. An option I consider for making it appealing here in the late model south was to utilize the SUPR heads which are the same as the ASCS heads.

Maybe something like:
305 GM
302 Ford
318 Mopar/Dodge

ASCS/SUPR heads with HVH1000 Intake
4 barrel carb
Alcohol
MSD ignition with set RPM's (7200) that is claimable
Inspection holes in Oil pan and Intake

We're in Illinois and only 3 1/2 hours away from some of the best wingless sprint car tracks in the country just over the state line in Indiana and we get to see wingless sprint car racing a grand total of twice a year. And that only started last year. Prior to last year we didn't get to see any, at all.

Right now I'm just trying to get a feel for any interest, I never thought of starting a series, but maybe a club or something to start things off. I got burnt out on DLM after 30 years and just really fell in love with Non-wing sprints for their simplicity and excitement. So far I've been admiring them from a far off, I've never seen them in person, just on Lucas Oil TV, Loudpedal TV and Jack Slash. February at Bubba will be my first race attended. After that I plan to go to Cory Kruseman's school and if everything goes well and I like it as much as I think I will, then I'll put a car together and start taking it to local tracks to demonstrate how simple they are. Maybe let some guys try it out for a couple of laps. I appreciate your words of encouragement, they mean a lot.
