This is a very busy time of year for me and we haven't been following the racing like we normally do but a buddy attended the Sumar and he said it was one of the better races he's seen is a good while.

He said Kody Swanson put on a show for the ages.

Thanks for posting the results, Cage!

Cage, that was some good stuff, for sure!!

I've been thrashed mercilessly on the mud cab board for my assurances that Terre Haute is a very racy place. I've been to a couple of mud cab races there and they've been decent show's. That said the wingless 410 sprint cars and especially the USAC Silver Crown cars put on one great race after another while the general consensus among hard core DLM fans is that the mud cabs suck there. It's a treacherous place for the dirt open wheel cars but the USAC boys, given how scary fast it is, still put their huge balls on display almost every time they race there. Hard to figure.

I've only ever seen 1 DLM show at "The Action Track" and it wasn't great. Facilities and attributes do make a difference as to which style racer does better where. You know I spent 30 years in and around DLM before discovering the awesomeness of non-wing OW, I can appreciate both, I just love dirt racing. I've met idiots in both camps, its why I quit going on IOW, too many people wanting to bash on me for being from the south and for NOT being ashamed of that fact. Our media plays a huge role in the divisions we see in our country, political, religious, ethnic, financial. Very few like you and me who are willing to reach across the isle and embrace all dirt racers as brothers. I myself don't go into the DLM area much anymore either because its become a "Rocket-ONLY" mindset and heaven help you if you respect CJ Rayburn. Dirt racing, like the country as become polarized, like ANTIFA, you either agree with them or you arent allowed to speak.
