Racing doesn’t start till dirt late models hit the track (somewhere, anywhere)

JimBo, it's mildly interesting that the only people who bash The Chili Bowl as being uninteresting and less than a world class event is people who have never been to Tulsa to actually experience the 6 night spectacle. Or those who were suddenly disenchanted due to Kevin no longer driving in it. Very common themes.

But, one has to give kudo's to the dirt late models, they pay for themselves during the offseason and through the week between races doing double duty as pizza deliver cars! LOL!

It’s not like that CIRF. I have been to wingless open wheel racing events. We grew up on World of Outlaw sprint cars. I personally enjoy winged sprint cars more. Chili Bowl live on TV just doesn’t work either. I also don’t like how Stewart preps dirt tracks. But if you love it then good for you. I’m all about personal choices and I’m happy for you.

"Kiddy cars" you say? LOL! Well, we've seen how easy it is to win driving those "kiddy cars" in Tulsa, haven't we. As exemplified by none other than a couple of generic dirt late model drivers known as "superman" and "the GOAT" who are widely celebrated as the the best in the business and the best that ever has been, respectively. The excuses posted on this very forum range from "those cars don't fit their driving style", to "those guys are just too BIG, FAT and OLD to be very good in those cars"! LOLOL!

We've also seen a guy who's widely considered to be the best at this point in time driving those "kiddy cars" jump in a generic dirt late model kick serious ass of guys who are considered the best DLM's have to offer in only his SECOND START!
