Sad News Of The Passing Of The First Lady Of Eldora Speedway

Prayers go out to the family and friends of Berneice Baltes. Mrs. Baltes passed away Wednesday February 24th. We spoke to Mrs. Baltes a few times over the years and she was always as cordial and gracious as could be. Back in the old days you could see her working hard in the main concession stand at every event we ever attended at Eldora.

Although I've never been to Eldora or meet Berneice it seemed like her and Earl were like a well oiled machine.
