On Saturday, July 23 - for the only time in 2022, fans can catch the Morrow Brothers Ford MOWA Sprint Car Series on the high banks of the Spoon River Speedway for the 35th running of the Tom Knowles Memorial!

MARS Racing Series Late Models - $3,000 to win
DIRTcar UMP Modifieds - $3,000 to win
Spoon River Speedway E/B-Mods - $1,000 to win

July 21, 2022 (Canton, IL) Due to the forecasted temperatures on Saturday with heat indices reaching near 110℉, officials with the Morrow Brothers Ford, Inc. Midwest Open Wheel Association Sprint Car Series and Spoon River Speedway have made the decision to postpone the 35th Annual Tom Knowles Memorial.
The event has been rescheduled to September 17, pushing this event back to its normal fall-time race date. More information about the rescheduled event will be released soon.
Up next for the series is a doubleheader weekend, opening at Jacksonville Speedway next Friday, July 29 before heading across I-72 to Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois on Saturday, July 30.
