Is there a seal other than the one direct from Bert that can be used in a Bert Ball Spline tailshaft?

are you referring to the #16 lip seal that fits into the tail housing or the grease seal(s) for the ball housing? the grease seal/seals are bert only.

I should have one in stock. I will try to get the number off of it tomorrow. That is not a proprietary seal, you should be able to source it from a local supplier.
