After seeing the 2 winners from Volusia win those short features on a 55, whats your opinion on using one on a local show? What adjustments will need to be made?

You just have to get it up to temperature. 10-12 laps in, a harder tire is almost always faster if conditions are where you even consider running it.Originally posted by ZERO25 View PostAfter seeing the 2 winners from Volusia win those short features on a 55, whats your opinion on using one on a local show? I have not been to Volusia, but from the pictures that I have seen, it looks almost round, the corners are very long. A track like this commands a looser setup than a track that is more of a paper clip type track. Loose race cars put more heat in the rr than a more balanced setup would, because a loose race car is more sideways. I would think a 55 would probably get enough abuse to come into its prime temp range on a track like Volusia.
