We always ran a brass tipped pushrod due to the cam. I have several people tell us it was not needed and they all lost the cam after a few races.Originally posted by citiracer View Post

The end will mushroom a bit and it should be replaced after each year but they are pretty cheap insurance. We did not have that bad of an issues with it spreading out running synthetic oils.
