just like the titile. is a 600 enough for a 04 on a 1/2 mile track?

Mail or call KB with the Carb number and I am sure he can tell you.
I have run maybe 20+ of his carbs for customers and have had good luck with all of them. If it was originally for a 602 like most of the 600's it might not have a fuel curve that the 604 will like as they are way different on the vacuum pull.
If you can't find out, I run carbs almost every day and run the first pull on any customer carb for FREE.
I let you know where you stand and then see if you want to improve with more pulls or I can ship back. I won't run a carb that is full of dirt or filthy as I do not clean them before running, just blow them off with some air and let'r'rip.
Baseline for my 650HP Stock Holley is currently 394RWHP on Chevron 93 and 30* timing on a 604. Number dropped a little as I took off the ASA legal GM 604 1.6 rockers. I had them on there so long I forgot about them til I did a recent rocker arm test for a customer.
