    604 seals

I just bout a 604 that is said to have low laps and never been apart is there away to tell by the seals or permatex the factory uses if it is original the glue is grey and looks like what the factory would do

Not really easy to ID stock bolts, factory does not use permatex. They use a softer silicone material, light grey, that costs about $15 a small tube ( PN 12346192 ).

I have seen bolts from e-bay that definitely won't pass tech because the font is incorrect and does not have the curvature built into it. I have also seen some newer bolts with correct looking logo but they are burned in to dark with the laser so a good tech man should catch them too.

If you plan to run Fastrak you have to have the engine inspected and re-sealed with their seals.

It is pretty tough to say if your seals are original without being able to see them in person.
