    lr front shock options

So we are looking for some info on options for the lr front shock. We are allowedsto run any type of shock on the front that we would like. We have a twin tube 0/0, and are looking into getting a 6/0 gas shock but are wondering if we should we get one with or without a schrader valve? Both are $149 so cost really isn't a factor.

Can someone explain when and why you might use a 0/0 twin tube in front as well when you might use a 6/0 gas shock?

0/0 oil versus 6/0 gas are very different because you have two variables.
Compression: Stiffer compression is going to do a few things, most notably it will keep the car from slamming down on corner entry. So if you have a driver that doesn't trail brake very well, this will help keep the car up and by keeping rear steer in the car, can make entry freer. I'll tell you from experience that this "feels" a lot more comfortable on corner entry on stop and go places as long as you don't have the car to free on entry.
Oil versus gas: With gas you get the adjustment of gas pressure. Higher gas pressure will help the car get up on the bars faster which can assist getting the LR to bite quicker. So typically you would go higher on gas pressure as the track slicks off.
It's worth mentioning while we are on the topic even though every time I bring it up somebody jumps my case saying that they have been doing it for years and never had a problem but I'll say it again: do NOT use your LR front shock as your travel limiter. Use a chain attached to the birdcage.
First and foremost, shocks are not designed to be stretched and secondly, your travel limit will change every time you make a 4-bar adjustment.
