I have been told the crate 56 is softer than a regular 56 does nyone know this for sure ? thanks in advance

They are. Most of the Crate 56's I had were significantly softer than my regular 56's. Not quite like a SD-48 but were maybe a 60 punch versus a 75 on a non crate tire.
