    602 Valve seals?

Anyone have the GM part number(s) for the valve seals? I'm guessing intake and exhaust are different?

    Thanks Eric

      Thanks for the part numbers.

Whats the general practice on replacing the springs and seals? Ive been doing the springs every 15-20 nights. Went to buy them today and they had 32 sets of springs in stock and not even seals to do one engine. How often do you need to change seals? Thanks Eric

        Eric,

you really shouldn't need to change seals.

If the seals have not been damaged by debris or some mechanical failure they should last a long time

your spring change interval is a little on the high side but if you are running less than 6000 rpm it still should be fine----------602's are not as bad as 604's but you still want to keep up with valve train maintenance

10 to 12 races on a 602 is safe (make sure you change the keepers)

        Brad

          Ok thanks.

Whats the part number for the keepers and what quanities are they sold in?

My 602 is in a street stock car, Turn it 6200 rpm but Only race 18 green flag laps a night on a 1/4 mile track. Thats why I push the number of nights up. Eric
