    604 competing with limited lates

How competitive would a 604 be with these rules?

Depends on the track conditions. If the track is hooked up and the higher HP engines can put all the power to the ground then the 604 will be left behind. I witnessed myself though this past year a near worn out 604 qualify and finish in the top 5 during a Southeastern Limited Latemodel series race, it was in a 22 car field. The track was very dry slick though so the higher HP engines couldn't hook up near as well.

I ran my 604 at Peoria Speedway 3 times last year, their limited lates are roller cam, aluminum headed with no cubic inch rule, finished 2nd, 3rd, and broke in 3 nites.

We run a crate and steel head both the crate broke track record and two steel heads broke the track record the same night. We won that race with a crate 42 cars entered the race 20 cars strarted the race
