602 crate question

With a 602 in emod do I need to run mufflers and or collectors on my headers for it to preform better? If so how long of a collector will I need.

We don't run mufflers on our 604's, but run an extension that measures 20" from where the tubes come together to the end of the extension. You could contact Brad Hibbard at Race 1 as he's up on all the crate 602's 330-540-race

Schoenfeld recommended 12" long mufflers and turndowns to increase the length with IMCA we are limited to what we can run.

I posted what Schoenfeld suggested, I run IMCA so I have to use their 10" stamped muffler. I guess I could have worded that better.

I know and understand the current IMCA rules so I wont argue with you, thats not what this thread was about anyway.
