    Fastrack weight rules

I seen on the site that it was 2400 for a 604 with one pound per lap burn off.I had a guy tell me today that if you have the original gm bolts and not a rebuild you only have to weigh 2350.Any truth to this? Thanks.

No, its 2400 with one pound of burn off in the feature only. the only wieght break you will receive is a 25 pound break if you wear a hans device. does not matter if it has gm seals or fastrak seals.

        Steve is correct

2013 FASTRAK weight for a 604 is 2350 and an additional 25 pounds for the use of an approved head and neck restraint

burn off will also still apply to feature events of touring races and may apply to weekly tracks if they so choose

we appologize for the 2013 rules not being posted as of yet, but be assured that any changes are to update to modern day late model and racing in general and should in no way cause anyone problems but better yet make life a little easier.

When are these new rules going to be put in writing?I tried telling our tech man it's suppose to be 2350 but he said he had to go by what was in writing which was 2400.

where was this at?-----I will call them and take the heat for the confusion------

I thought we had made all the sanctioned tracks aware of that change

already told Stan that we need to move on the printed 2013 version ASAP----I'll take the blame he just has few things to go over but when he calls seems like I don't have time.

anyway---send me the track info and i will be sure to call them and i do apologize to you

            Brad

I talked with Gary at Rolling Thunder tonight and he now knows that we have officially gone to 2350 plus weigt break for head and neck restraint on the 604 cars

Stan and I worked long into the evening last night--- to attempt to have the best wording possible in the 2013 rule book and Brian Haynes just told me that Stan worked most of the afternoon on polishing the sentences.-------the written version will appear soon I assure you

I did also call Tammy at Cleveland county today to make them aware of the weight difference

please let me know of any other tracks opening this week or that might have some confusion on the weight topic and I will contact them ASAP

                  thank you
                  Brad
