    gear for lowes

If you are going in May with the sprints expect it to be dry and slick. However you will have group quailfy as your hotlap sessison and track maybe heavy. The place can really be hooked up when it is wet. I have seen anywhere from the 540's to the 580's. You will just have to see if you hotlap/qualify before sprints or after could make a big difference. Last 2 times they have let crates make about 3 hotlaps then pull right back around and send you out in group qualify. You have time to make a few changes gear being 1 if you have enough crew and are quick. Hope this helps. Be ready to work a lot and be rushed all night. Not as bad if you qualify in top 10.

you are correct they will come out and groom and scratch the track at any time. From past experience track has been rough when they over water the track. That don't normally happen at the Sprint Car shows b/c they don't like rough. But it can be Pot Luck on just what you get. Never the same twice. If it is rutted and rough I promise it will be one of the roughest tracks you will have ever raced on. Make sure you have good bars in front of your driver b/c the dirt will chunk up and it hurts when it hits you.
