Are you running the same trace pretty much every week or are you hitting different tracks with different conditions, banking, size, etc.?
If you're switching track types a lot, adjustability becomes more important. Regardless of what you do, it is worth it to get the shocks custom valved by a knowledgeable builder in your area that knows your car and track(s).
Afco still makes a good affordable shock with many options depending on your budget.

I running 2 tracks ones a small 3/8 red clay kinda high bank and the other is about the same with crawl fish mud as I call it lol
