Rear end for crates

What is the best rear end for a crate car between winters and bulldog

we run a standard winters but have seen several crate guys switching to the smaller one, 8" i think is what it is. only problem is if they ever want to go back to a higher HP motor the smaller rearend wont handle it (at least that what i have heard)
