    Crate drive flange

I need info for the drive flange coupler for a 604. The one we have has a different bolt pattern than the flywheel for the crate. There are several different kinds and I'm not sure what to get to match a Brinn with a stock bell housing. Also need info on the alignment bearing. Thanks for the help.

You don't have to use a drive flange with a 604 if you are running a Bert-style transmission. What kind of transmission will you be running with this motor?

racerj5, Take a look at this link on our website: http://www.brinninc.com/downloads/On...Seal_Chevy.pdf This is the bolt pattern for the 604 externally balanced crate engine. Do you have a flex plate with a counter weight? If so, you can use the 73055 or 73056 (aluminum or steel) drive flange. If you do not have a flex plate with the counter weight, then you will need a Brinn bellhousing and externally balanced flywheel setup. Thanks!
