Most would say the Smack. They are still good cars for any form of late model racing.

All Kidding Aside he is right you can't go wrong with a Smack especially on a crate. Some say the GenX isn't as good for limited and low horsepower applications like the Crate. The MBH is a GenX front and Smack Rear anyways. Don't fry to many brain cells worrying its much more critical in things like crates to have the good rear end low drag components and properly setup shock package so if maybe saving a little money on Smack thats an 08 compared to a 14 GenX (just for comparison) if it allows you to spend money elsewhere for more return it would be well worth it.
