Quick change problems need help

07 masters with winters qc. Doing my preseason look over pulled rear cover and found upper bearing tight and hard to move. Don't see any issues with the bearing but pulled it to replace. After it was removed it spins freely. Cleaned it again and reinstalled. As soon as cover cooled bearing bound up again.

The question is replace bearing, cover or both?
