not sure about your question.......

there is no way to "legally" run front to rear water lines on a 602 so there should not be any restriction in the intake water neck

This is on gas.

602 applications on gas have no need for any kind of restriction in the intake manifold (water neck)

it MAY be beneficial to restrict the water to the pump (lower hose) for power gains
