Saw a crate car last week that had solid disc rotors and neat small brakes. What is the lightweight setup? Thanks.

There are some guys running the 3/8 "plate" rotors (not webbed/vaned). You need calipers to match and you also need to be aware of what it will do to the aligned of your calipers based on where your backets are on your spindles and axle tubes.Originally posted by mopar92 View PostSaw a crate car last week that had solid disc rotors and neat small brakes. In other words, it may not just be a matter of bolting on some new stuff.
Call Spike at Wilwood and he can get you pointed in the right direction.

Wildwood has a drilled/scalloped .35 rotor. It is a steel rotor requiring special pads. We used a NDL wilwood caliper that allowed us just move our caliper to the other side of the mount. Jeff smith at J&j race cars in Dallas nc knows everything you need
