I put in 4oz as that's what Wilwood reccomends on their product book. I'm curious too if anyone else has a different opinion.

I don't know where 4 ounces gets ya but I thought it said on the fronts to fill till it would run out little fill hole when at a 90 degree angle and to fill the rears to the bottom of the axle so it didn't run out when you pulled axle etc. Thats what I've done for years on mine with no issues.

Ok so I went back and checked myself because I don't want to give anyone bad information. I looked on Winter's website for their parts catalog and here's what it says...
"Proper oil level is critical to the performance of these hubs. To fill, rotate the hub so that the Oil Fill/Level Plug is positioned at 8 o'clock.
Front - Fill until oil level reaches to the bottom of the Oil Fill/Level Plug (approximately 3.5 to 4 oz).
Rear - Fill until oil level reaches the bottom of the spindle. Over-filling will result in oil entering your side tubes. (approximately 3.5 to 4 oz). "
