    GM604 Tech info...

I'm putting together a spreadsheet that compares engines from crate to super and everywhere in between and I'm needing some info on the crate stuff. Im purposely leaving out the 602 as it isn't competitive or relevant in my area, not meaning to ruffle anyones feathers.

How much does a GM604 engine weigh, fully dressed?
How much do most spend on a blueprint job?
How much is an average rebuild cost? How often?
How much to replace valve springs?
How often should valve springs be replaced?
How often to change oil? Cost?

If anybody knows the answers to the same questions regarding a CT525 that would be great. I'll be posting elsewhere on some other packages and I appreciate and input, even if you can't answer all the questions. Thanks.

I dont know weight, $2800 on rebuild if you don't have any damage in side. New valve spings cost $65 I think, I checked and change as needed with old style every 4 weeks and change oil ever 4 races, lubricants are free through one of my sponsors so don't know cost on that.

we don't like to see our rebuild price get over $3000------some our less, some our a little more but that is the area we like to be in.

we use a "reference" weight of 500 pounds DRESSED and WET---that number is not accurate to the pound ---there are too many variables----but it is the weight we claim during shipping
