    Oil cooler lines

Hey guys, what size of oil cooler lines would be best for the 604, AN8 or AN10?

#10 would be the smallest I would go. #12 is common for oil lines on dry sump stuff and that's also what I use on my external oil pump engine.

      agree 100% with MM90
-8 is a recipe for disaster
-10 is acceptable IF everything is perfect--using all high flow fittings and nothing over a 45 degree angle

-12 gives a window for some in perfection in design---still use all high flow fittings but go ahead and use them 90's

I know it seems like a huge line for the application and thats what I thought in the beginning but after working on crate engines for a day or two I have found -12 to be the best choice and is what is on 100% of our engines that have oil coolers

      as ever

Thanks guys, greatly appreciated. I was thinking the 10 but now I know 12 is the better choice. Thanks again
