ones opinion on engine placement right now it is down and to left car is pretty fast when track is fast or middle of road but when very slick car is terrible

Steel block motors are carrying the weight low which is not good for weight transfer. You want to get that motor up as high as you can and to the right. This will help promote weight transfer which will help you in slick track conditions.
